Hmmmmm

So, um, well, I hate to admit this but I think I'm going back to Insanity and keeping kempo in the mix as well. I'm just not feeling the workouts with P90X, at 1st I liked the slower pace, but now, um not so much...and lets face it I was born in a fast paced city and I have never done things slow so this is starting to bore me. I need the fast pace impact of Insanity, the yelling (I'm Puerto Rican, we yell), the competition (one day I will show Tanya who's boss!). So I will finish out this week and get back to Insanity on Monday!

On another note, today is day one out of three of my shakeology cleanse! So far so good I'm drinking my shake! Forgot to have green tea this morning but I will drink that in a few. I'm looking forward to pushing myself over this hump and shedding a few extra pounds. I will need this since I am going home to NY next week...I will be careful with what I eat, but I can't pass up the greats: Pizza, Grey's Papaya, and REAL Chinese food! SO SO BAD FOR ME! lol. But I don't do these things everyday and I allow myself one cheat day per week...so...I will have to squeeze all those in one day. (I'm driven, I tell ya).

Recovery and soreness Ahhh this is the life!

I decided to go back to max recovery today from Insanity because I am SORE! LOVE IT! I did Kempo yesterday and I didn't expect to feel sore today because I didn't feel the burn yesterday, I did sweat a whole lot, but no burn during the workout, but boy was I wrong, turns out I did work the arms as much as he said I was on the video. It hurts so good!!

I signed my first coach the other day and I am happy about that, that's one more person fighting the number 1 killer: obesity!

KENPO X

Started my P90X...Was disappointed the first day because I don't have the right equipment to do some of the workouts so I didn't get a good workout that day :-( So I have decided to do a hybrid workout mixing Insanity and P90X together to get a max workout, I'll do the parts of P90X that don't require equipment and do Insanity on the days I do need it...Today was Kenpo X and I LOVED IT! I love Insanity, but this one I think I like a lil more because it was at a less intense pace and so I didn't feel as though I was sacrificing form, and I was able to keep up, and I was sweating just as much as I was with Insanity. So I'm excited about this!!

I wasn't able to post results the other day or pix so I will do it here...

End results after Insanity

Waist: 40-35 YEAH BABY!
Hips: 42-40½
Thighs: 23½- 21
Chest: 38-37 (I am still very close to picking up a phone to inquire about a reduction grrrr)
Shoulders: 40-41 (odd??!!)

RCalve: 13½-13

Starting weight around 165-166 new weight: 156!!! 10lbs and 5 inches! YEAH BABY! I'm so close!!!!

Day Sixty Two 16 October 2010, Saturday

WEPA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I DID IT!!!!! I DUG DEEPER and I made it to day 62!!!!! I'm fit testin tomorrow and I can't wait to see my results, also I will be taking my after pictures and finally posting those...I am so proud of myself, I am normally a person who makes a decision and goes with it, but for some reason I expected to give up half way through this because I did before but I was so determined, I set goals and I will see tomorrow if I met any of them and I am sure I did!!! I love the high I have right now...I, LATINA VEGA finished something, all the way to the end!!! And I am better for it!! Now a new journey begins! P90X, I've been warned by a few people that I might not like Tony Horton as much as Shaun T because of his "charisma" but I am willing to overlook that because; DUDE, the guy is 40+ and has an AMAZING body! That's where I want to be in my 40's! I love waking up in the morning and reaching down to my stomach and feeling how flat it is, now anyone can do the same cause as u lay everything goes flat, but I feel my entire rib cage, before I used to feel fat and press in to feel rib!! I love looking in the mirror and seeing my much thinner face although I will never be able to escape my fat cheeks that were inherited from my lovely family :-/ lol.

Today is a good day!!!!!

Day Sixty 14 October 2010, Thursday

ALMOST DONE!!!! WOW...I'm so happy about that because I want to begin the next phase of operation healthy me. I am going on a trip back home at the end of Oct so b4 I begin another workout I will just continue on with the 1st week of month 2 just to hold me over until I get back to start P90X! I just don't want to stop working out just because I am on vacation, so at least I'll be doing something even if it's walking the Brooklyn Bridge I'ma be busy all day everyday! And of COURSE I'm bringing my shakeology with me!!!

Day Fifty Seven 11th October 2010, Monday

Max Interval Plyo! WHEW! But I kicked butt this morning. Sweat dripping, clothes sticking, picture sent to my workout buddy, wonderful feeling! :-)

Have many errands to run this morning, so I wont be long...and hey this is a testament to Beachbody's products...Before, by this time, I'd be sitting here watching TV, or working on images all day not seeing daylight once unless I opened the door to look out for second (if someone knocked). Now I'm on the go everyday, and early! I'm NOT or should I say I wasn't a morning person and now I'm up and at em! I often get bored cause I have so much energy and there might be nothing to do that day :-). I owe it all to Insanity and most definitely to Shakeology!!!!

Get up, work out, feel better, go outside and breathe deep! You're alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day Fifty Four 8th October 2010, Friday

I wanted you to know that even coaches need a lil coaching, and motivation. I was lying in bed SO NOT going to even get up and work out cause I was tired (I need to stop waking up in the middle of the night for no reason) and then my good friend text me a picture of her sweaty self after getting her butt whipped by Shaun T (this is now a ritual with us both, to keep each other motivated) and so I told her, I wasn't really wanting to work out...but I got up anyway after a few words of encouragement and then I sent her a b4 pic and she text back "Latina- Those are Insanity Shoulders!!!!! Holy Crap" And that was more than enough for me to smile and get my butt in gear and I am so glad I did! I'm glad I didn't miss my fave workout (The one WITHOUT Tanya)! And I was so excited because although I sweat a lot; never before today has sweat actually dripped off of my head onto my mat! I was all to happy to catch a shot of that on my phone to send to her, LOL, along with my sweaty after pic! :-)

Don't give up!!!! Please...find a workout buddy, someone that can motivate you as my friend did me today! Dig Deeper!
